About trampset
Established in 2017, trampset is a literary journal that publishes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Work in trampset has been featured in Best Small Fictions, Best Microfiction, Wigleaf Top 50, and other anthologies. We welcome diverse voices, including writers working outside academia. We welcome all tramps.

Editor-in-Chief J. Edward Kruft has published in Bull, Fictive Dream, XRAY and Pithead Chapel among others. He once loved snowstorms and now he does not. He does, however, still love candy corn. He lives with his husband and their adoptees – a Siberian Husky and a Pom-Chow, respectively – in New York and Georgia. Scott Neuffer is a writer and journalist who lives in Nevada with his family. He’s the founding editor and business manager of trampset. He’s the author of two books now out of print. His work has appeared in the Nevada Appeal, Shelf Awareness, Foreword Reviews, Autofocus, Farewell Transmission, Gone Lawn, and other publications.
Mandira Pattnaik’s columns have appeared regularly since 2022 and are a reflective, wide-ranging dialogue between her creative practice and the shifting terrains of contemporary literature. Writing with insight, curiosity, and a deeply personal, critical lens, she explores topics such as inspiration, rejection, language, climate truths, women’s narratives, and newly released books, bridging her experiences as a writer of color with global literary discourse. Pattnaik's work has appeared in The Rumpus, The McNeese Review and The Cincinnati Review, among 375 other places. Columnist Paul Chuks is a freelancer, poet, and storyteller. He is of Igbo descent and resides in Nigeria. His works have appeared or are forthcoming in The London Magazine, Craftliterary, Strange Horizons, Hobartpulp and elsewhere. He is a senior editor at Mud Season Review.
